MASAB Signs Offtake Agreement with WASCO for Post-Consumer Plastics Supply

MASAB, a leading plastics recycling company, has signed a strategic offtake agreement with WASCO, a subsidiary of MEPCO and a prominent waste management company specialising in the collection and sorting of recyclables. This agreement outlines the supply of post-consumer plastics to MASAB for recycling and further processing.

The partnership between MASAB and WASCO marks a significant step in advancing the circular economy within the region. WASCO's expertise in waste management and its extensive network for collecting and sorting recyclable materials will provide MASAB with a steady and reliable supply of post-consumer plastics. This, in turn, supports MASAB’s ongoing efforts to enhance plastic recycling processes and contribute to reducing plastic waste.

Eng. Mohsen Alotaibi, CEO of MASAB, stated: "We are pleased to collaborate with WASCO, a key player in the waste management sector. This agreement will strengthen our supply chain and increase our capacity to process post-consumer plastics, aligning with our commitment to sustainability and supporting the Kingdom’s broader environmental goals."

The agreement with WASCO reinforces MASAB’s role as a leading force in plastic recycling in Saudi Arabia and the region, driving innovation and sustainability in waste management.
